Each object requires a unique mould created specifically for its design. Wood and metal are used to build the forms that define the future silhouette and proportions of the piece. Some moulds are handcrafted from hardwood, while others are produced in metal to accommodate more complex sculptural forms. Precision is essential, as every mould becomes the foundation through which an artistic idea is translated into glass.
Glass is a living material. Under intense heat exceeding 1,500°C, raw materials transform into a glowing molten mass that responds to movement, temperature, gravity and touch. At this stage, the object begins to emerge through the skill of master glassmakers. Guided by breath, fire, and experience, the material gradually acquires its final form. No two pieces develop in exactly the same way. Subtle variations created during the process become part of the object's individuality.
